A Dacic city inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage since 1999 has been returned to tourists, after decades when access to the monument has been extremely difficult and risky. Since 1 August 2026, the Bănită city can be visited on a thematic route marked and arranged through the Keys of the Bănită.
The historic route of 2,600 kilometers, key to the economic and cultural development of the Viceroyalty, connects 10 states of the country through its former mining centers, missions and ex haciendas.
