Election posters are in full swing, and so is the annual vandalism of party political posters. A crime of vandalism that can be solved to a greater extent with increased camera surveillance. “It is judged as an attack on democracy,” says police inspector Viktor Adolphson, referring to a case from the last election campaign.
For weeks now, the parties have been promoting votes, now it is serious: who is ahead, who still has chances, who has to go through.
The Social Democrats barely have time to put up their election posters before they are torn down. And now the posters are also being kicked to pieces. – It feels organized, says opposition councilor Lars Nyander (S), who refuses to give up the posters ahead of the election.
