(+) Housing Day for the Elderly: Kirsten Looks Forward to Home Visits

Brønnøy Municipality lent out 111 million in Startlån last year. The target group is elderly people who want to buy a new home or need to make adjustments to be able to continue living at home.

Seniors living in their own premises, which make it difficult for them to function independently, will soon be able to take advantage of an innovative solution. Municipalities will offer them the possibility of renting municipal apartments - adapted to their needs - in exchange for renting their own premises from the senior. This is the assumption of a new government bill.
