The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it does not anticipate any changes in the operation of the Polish Embassy in Kyiv. Russia had previously appealed to foreigners to leave the Ukrainian capital due to planned attacks. In short: we are not leaving. Polish diplomacy said that Russia will neither succeed in breaking Ukraine nor in undermining European solidarity with the Ukrainian people, and that official Warsaw does not foresee any changes in the functioning of the embassy in Kiev.
Further Russian threats and appeals to diplomats to leave Kyiv demonstrate that the Kremlin is attempting to intimidate Europe and weaken its support for Ukraine, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
