An American investor group has acquired majority ownership of the famous Dracula Castle in Târgu Mureș, known to the world as Dracula's Castle. The monument was previously owned by descendants and relatives of the Romanian royal family, but the American company recently acquired an 80 percent stake in the company that operates the castle. The minority ownership remains with the heirs of the royal family. The purchase price was not disclosed.
