A police officer in the Criuleni district arrived at the hospital on the morning of 17 July after accidentally shooting himself with a gun in his possession. He injured himself on his knees and went alone to the Orhei Raional Hospital to ask for help. Later, he was transported to the Institute of Emergency Medicine in Chisinau.
