- Sales of Emily Wilson's 2017 translation rose more than 1,000 per cent at Britain's largest bookstore chain, Waterstones, while Spotify reported listener searches for The Odyssey translations skyrocketed by 310 per cent.
- At University College London, Phiroze Vasunia, head of the Greek and Latin Department, noted exceptional interest in ancient studies, hoping the film's popularity drives increased student enrollment in coming years.
