The Observatory for Linguistic Rights Has Refused to Participate in the Meetings of the Global Observatory of the Spanish Language

The Linguistic Rights Observatory has argued that the objectives of the conference, which are to promote Spanish, and the normalization and revitalization of Basque, are in contradiction. It has informed the organizing body, the Global Observatory of the Spanish Language, of its decision in a letter, and has sent it a sample of the violations of linguistic rights it received in 2024.
