Slovan Liberec coach Branislav Fodrek was not shy about criticizing his team's performance in the first half after winning the Podještěd derby at Střelnice (2:1), but he also praised the character with which his players turned the match around after the break. He also praised the scorer of the winning goal, Vasil Kušej, whose 80th-minute strike decided that Slovan would return to second place in the table.

Liberec players won the 7th round of the first league in the Podještěd derby in Jablonec 2:1. All goals were scored after the change of sides. The home team scored twice in the first half, but the score was opened in the 50th minute by substitute Patrik Dulay. Saidou Alioum equalized for Jablonec, but the visiting team Vasil Kušej had the last word.
