“Contrary to a global trend, Spain offers undocumented immigrants a legal way to stay.” With this explicit title The New York Times echoes on Wednesday the regularization of immigrants approved by the Spanish government on Tuesday and previously agreed with Podemos, and particularly stresses that it comes at a time when a large part of Western democracies are trying to put obstacles in the way of migrants.
