The new Prague hospital will be located on the premises of the Faculty Hospital Královské Vinohrady (FNKV). Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) and Minister of Health Adam Vojtěch (ANO) told journalists on Wednesday at the opening of the construction of the emergency room at the Faculty Hospital Thomayer.
The new emergency department at the Thomayer University Hospital in Prague's Krč for 2.2 billion crowns is scheduled to be completed in March 2029. The hospital serves approximately 600,000 people, including Prague 4, 11 and 12, as well as part of the Central Bohemian Region. This was stated by its director Zdeněk Beneš at the start of construction.
The future Prague super hospital is to be built on the premises of the Královské Vinohrady University Hospital (FNKV).
