Jorinde van Klinken has given the Dutch team their fourth victory at the European Athletics Championships for countries. She convincingly won the discus throw with 64.61 meters. She achieved that distance in her first attempt. Thanks in part to her maximum score of 16 points, the Dutch team took the lead in the intermediate standings.
