The Dutch government has approved a massive increase in defence costs in the context of NATO alliances trying to achieve new ambitious targets imposed by US President Donald Trump.
Good news for warmongers, or for people who like to stir up trouble about warmongers, or for people who then have to write topics about it: the defense budget is going to 3.5% of GDP, and on top of that the cabinet also wants to spend another 1.5% on things "that defense benefits from, such as cybersecurity and the improvement of roads and bridges."
