The path to further interest rate cuts is open. The NBP president indicated at Thursday's conference what this will depend on. In theory, this is not good news from the perspective of banks' financial results, but it does not prevent large increases in the prices of bank shares on the stock exchange.

Interest rates will probably decrease if there is no spike in inflation, but there are currently no visible reasons for this, said Adam Glapiński, President of the National Bank of Poland.
