In the Istanbul Stock Exchange Precious Metals and Precious Stones Market, the price of standard gold per kilogram closed the day at 6,823,000 Turkish Lira. During the day, the lowest price seen in the gold market was 6,750,000 Turkish Lira, and the highest was 6,865,000 Turkish Lira.

The USD/TRY exchange rate started the day higher and, as of 09:50, was trading at 48.7850, up 0.2%. At the same time, the EUR/TRY was at 56.0530 and the GBP/TRY at 65.2770. The dollar index rose 0.1% to 100.2. The decline in oil prices supported optimism that inflation could be kept under control, with November Brent crude futures falling 1.3% to $103.4. Markets will be monitoring domestic and international economic data today.
