The complaint filed by the Ministry of the Interior regarding the controversial use of state support for Fradiváros could end in prison – commented Zoltán Borbély, a lawyer and sports lawyer, on the investigation, which is unique in Hungarian sports life, in response to a question from Népszava. The question is: where did 25 billion forints go?

The Ministry of the Interior has filed a complaint with the National Tax and Customs Office regarding the state aid of almost 25 billion forints provided to Ferencváros' Fradiváros project. According to the suspicion, the club spent most of the public money originally intended for infrastructure development on operating costs and the purchase of professional football players' playing rights, while the planned sports complex was not built.

The club must repay almost 25 billion.
