In 2025, after inflation and the health situation, the Hungarian population saw corruption as the biggest problem. Mostly on the part of the government, people believed the abuse of power. Only a quarter of Hungarians would indicate if they experience corruption, for fear of reprisals or because they do not know if it would have consequences for those affected. The vast majority don't even know where to turn.
