The photograph, which shows a huge crowd of people, densely packed in a kind of dry riverbed, perhaps dead, perhaps hiding from something, perhaps just hopelessly waiting for help, is Armageddon-like. It is not clear what this crowd of human sardines is, who or what the people in the picture are victims of, what kind of Evil was at work.
