The Liberal Party of Quebec (PLQ) will not give its green light to Mario Roy's candidacy in the leadership race.
The Liberal Party of Quebec refused Mario Roy's candidacy, leaving Charles Milliard the only candidate in the race to lead the party.
According to our information, the party's electoral committee has refused to endorse the candidacy of the farmer-in-law Mario Roy, who was his only opponent to date. He has until February 13 in order to meet the conditions required to be in the race, if he wishes to be recognized as a candidate.
Only Charles Milliard remained in the running. If no other candidate ran, Mr. Milliard would become the new leader of the Liberal Party of Quebec on February 13.
