The plenary session of the Assembly formed on March 31, from Machala, the Qualifying Commission of the Popular Regulatory Initiative for the Strengthening of Citizen Security and the Peaceful Social Coexistence, sponsored by the Security Agreement, which, among other aspects, provides for the creation and strengthening of the Citizen Protection Corps.
The first meeting of the legislative year was held in the Raúl Alfonsín Hall of the Provincial Legislature, during which the General Legislation and Institutional Affairs Committees were formally established, and their officers and meeting days were defined.
