‘The Legend Of Vox Machina’ Renewed For Fifth & Final Installment; Prime Video Teases Season 4 With First Look At Comic-Con 2025
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, JUL 24 – The series will conclude after five seasons to complete its story, with Season 4 premiering in 2026 and creators preparing a new series, The Mighty Nein, for November release.
- On Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Prime Video announced The Legend of Vox Machina's fifth and final season, later confirmed by Critical Role on their channels.
- With the story nearing its end, Sam Riegel and Travis Willingham confirmed that The Legend of Vox Machina will conclude with its fifth season, emphasizing `it’s so rare for any television series to get to tell a complete story`.
- At the Comic-Con panel, the session showcased a Season Four clip, revealing new characters Tayron Darrington and Doty, and previewing the heroes' darker threat.
- Melissa Wolfe, Head of Animation at Amazon MGM Studios, said, "Achieving five seasons is a significant milestone for everyone involved," praising the series' success. Co-founders Sam Riegel and Travis Willingham seemed pleased despite fans’ mixed reactions.
- Later this year, The Mighty Nein will premiere on November 19, following fugitives and outcasts bound by secrets and scars, featuring The Beacon, no attribution.
