András Pongrátz, a fighter from Corvin Square in the 1956 revolution and freedom struggle, passed away on October 6 after a long illness, at the age of 88, said Előd Novák, a member of parliament from Mi Hazánk. The revolutionary also participated in the toppling of the Stalin statue and died surrounded by his family in his American home.
