The Last of Us Season 3 Picks Sinners Star Li Jun Li to Play Yara and Lev’s Mother, Miriam

- Although Lev and Yara play vital roles in The Last of Us video game from Naughty Dog, Miriam is a new character created for the television adaptation, so her scope remains unclear.
- Li joins new cast members Patrick Wilson and Jason Ritter, while Craig Mazin serves as sole showrunner for Season 3, which will focus on Abby, played by Kaitlyn Dever.
- Best known for her breakout role as Grace Chow in the Oscar-winning film Sinners, Li will also appear in Spider-Noir opposite Nicolas Cage, premiering May 27.
- The series, a co-production between HBO and Sony Pictures Television, is expected to begin shooting this summer and will adapt the second half of The Last of Us.
