The judge of square number one of the Civil and Instruction Section of the Court of Sanlúcar la Mayor has finally decreed the provisional file of the investigation concerning the nine allegedly unauthorized wells of the Aljóbar estate, in the municipality of Aznalcázar , a case in which Luis Martínez de Irujo Hohenlohe-Langenburg was investigated, as legal representative of the Eurotécnica Agraria company, the land manager.
The judge considers that it has not been established that the extractions of water caused serious danger to the environment
The judge understands that the absence of a licence for extraction is an administrative matter and that no technical report has clearly demonstrated that the aquifer or natural environment has been damaged.
The Attorney General's Office and the Civil Guard had reported a massive theft of 3.8 million cubic meters of water by the landlord family.
