iPhone Duo Has Similar Main Camera to iPhone 17e
Apple's tech specs suggest the iPhone Duo's Main camera sensor is seemingly a match for the iPhone 17e's, not the standard iPhone 17's. According to Apple's tech specs page for the iPhone Duo, the Main camera is a 26mm, ƒ/1.6 sensor with sensor-shift optical image stabilization and Hybrid Focus Pixels, also enabling a 12MP 2x Telephoto crop from the same sensor.
With a price tag of at least 2,339 euros, you would think that every component of the iPhone Duo is the best of the best. Yet that does not seem to be entirely the case. The main camera of the most expensive iPhone actually shows striking similarities to that of the iPhone 17e, the cheapest model Apple currently sells.
