The mother lives near Trnava, the father in Prague. They are divorced. Their now six-year-old twins commuted between them at weekly intervals. But the father then came to the conclusion that enough traveling was enough. He received the support of social workers and the children were taken into care. This led to a protracted dispute, which was only resolved by the children's ombudsman Martin Beneš, who enforced the children's wishes.
