The IFT strengthens transparency by modifying the Guidelines for Collaboration in Security and Justice R3D: Network in Defense of Digital Rights

The Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) amended the Guidelines for Collaboration in Security and Justice (hereinafter referred to as “the Guidelines”) to reinstate the obligation of concessionaires and authorized operators to generate and maintain a record of the geographical location requirements in real time and the delivery of data retained for a period of 24 months, as well as to send a semi-annual report to the IFT.
