The government plans to relocate some 3,000 unaccompanied migrant minors from the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla to other territories, most of them Andalusia, the Community of Madrid and Valencia, with 118 in Navarre, as the Ser Chain has advanced and sources from the Ministry of Youth and Childhood have confirmed to EFE this Friday.
Andalusia will be the autonomous community with the largest number of immigrant children from the Canary Islands to receive in the framework of the distribution to be carried out by the central government this summer. In total, 3,000 children and adolescents will be distributed, 677 of whom will be sent to the Andalusian territory. Madrid will be the second most host territory with 650.
