The household savings rate stood at 12% of gross disposable income in 2025, after falling 0.7 points compared to 2024. According to the National Statistics Institute (INE), household disposable income increased by 5.3%, to 1,064,458 million euros, while consumption expenditure grew by 6.2%, to 937,447 million, generating savings of 128,126 million, enough to finance an investment of 79,685 million, with a year-on-year growth of 10.1%.
