Holi fest in Taipei boosts Taiwan-India ties
Taipei, April 12 (CNA) Vibrant clouds of colored powder transformed the Hakka Cultural Park in Taipei into a festive sea of hues on Saturday as the Hindu festival of Holi was kicked off, highlighting growing cultural ties between Taiwan and India.
The "2026 Holi Festival," initiated by Indian expatriates residing in Taiwan and supported by the Indian Taipei Association, kicked off in Taipei today, attracting a large number of enthusiastic Taiwanese participants. Deningham, president of the Indian Taipei Association, said that the event not only deepens local cultural exchanges between India and Taiwan, but also builds a bridge of friendship for people-to-people interactions.
