Nihat Köse, a member of the Board of Directors of the Erzincan Sheep and Goat Breeders Association, sought medical attention after being bitten by a tick in the Bayburt highlands. Due to high blood counts, he was transferred to Erzurum Atatürk University Research Hospital for treatment, where he received blood transfusions. Association President Uğur Karakuş visited Köse in the hospital and stated that his health condition was improving.
