Vologda Governor Georgy Filimonov has dismissed Yulia Shevtsova, head of the region’s Nyuksensky district, after her daughter posted a video in which she threatened to have a young man sent to fight in the war in Ukraine.

EADaily, May 20th, 2025. The governor of the Vologda region, Georgy Filimonov, announced that he had decided to dismiss the head of the Nyuksen municipal district, Yulia Shevtsova, after her daughter's resonant video in which she threatened someone with "being sent to SMO."
