Milei Government Ends Financial Surveillance to Ignite Dollarisation

The Government established the changes anticipated by the Minister of Economy through Decree No. 353/2025 published in the Official Gazette.

After the economic team of the executive branch, headed by Minister Luis Caputo, made announcements for Argentines to take the dollars “out of the mattress,” the government officialized these measures in the Official Gazette, through Decree No. 353/2025. According to the owner of the economy portfolio at a press conference, the intention is for citizens “to be innocent again until ARCA proves otherwise.”
