On Friday 19 June, by Executive Decree 428, the President of the Republic, Daniel Noboa, amended document 125, signed on 12 September 2025, relating to the economic compensation mechanism for carriers affected by the reform of the price of diesel fuel.

President Daniel Noboa reformed the compensation mechanism created after the rise of the di sel. The new provision extends to nine months the economic benefit for transporters.
