In April 2024 there were strong night frosts in Thuringia, which caused considerable crop failures for the fruit and winegrowers. We visited a winery in Bad Sulza a year later.
The apricot, cherry and peach producers in Pella are desperate, having seen their productions destroyed due to the frost of the previous period. The farmers in the region, as well as in Imathia, are in despair. The low temperatures also affected the cherry trees in the plain of Pella.
