In the municipalities of France we are seeing a known scene: all the parties claim some kind of victory, although with nuances. Socialists retain power in the most symbolic cities; the ultra-right is slowed down there, but it continues to advance in medium-sized municipalities; and the left again debates whether the unity adds or subtracts it.
COUNTER-POINT - Major manoeuvres are just beginning, but will remain fragile if they rely only on the supposed lessons of these municipalities.
The folded local election, Edouard Philippe, Gabriel Attal and Bruno Retailleau are already in the campaign for the presidential election, when figures of the "central block" are calling for a common candidacy.
From the left to the far right, very few parties have their own path towards this election.
