At the age of 95, the founder of Slovak pedology and former Minister of the Environment, Juraj Hraško, has died. Academician of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and honorary member of the Slovak Academy of Agricultural Sciences served as a professor and the first head of the Department for Sustainable Development of the Slovak Agricultural University (SPU) in Nitra. The death was confirmed by the SPU.
