The First Verdict in BiH for Denying Genocide and Glorifying War Criminals - Two and a Half Years in Prison

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) today sentenced Vojin Pavlović, the president of the pro-Russian association Eastern Alternative from Bratunac, to two and a half years in prison for denying the genocide in Srebrenica and glorifying Ratko Mladić, convicted in The Hague for war crimes.

The Sarajevo court sentenced Vojin Pavlović to 2.5 years in prison for inciting national, racial and religious hatred. Pavlović placed a banner with the image of Ratko Mladić in the city center.
