The anti-collision system is one of the features of the new tram from the Škoda Group intended for Bergamo in northern Italy. On Monday, the company presented it to journalists at the test track in Pilsen; in about a month, the more than thirty-meter-long set will set off on test runs directly in Bergamo.

Pilsen-based Škoda Group on Monday presented the first of ten trams it will deliver to the city of Bergamo in northern Italy this year. The five-unit low-floor Škoda Forcity Classic 49T tram is equipped specifically for the local operator. Among other things, it will be the first tram in Italy with an anti-collision system.
