New Battery Train in Regular Service in the Split Area

A new battery-powered train began regular service between Split and Kaštel Stari on Monday. It was manufactured by the Croatian company Končar. It operates exclusively on battery power and is the first such train in Europe, announced the company HŽ Putnički Prijevoz.
The project value is 17.1 million euros.
