Interview - ETS: Peter Liese on support for industry, working with the far-right, and a ‘good day’ for the climate
Liese, an ETS veteran who’ll be Parliament’s rapporteur on a revision of the carbon market unveiled on 17 July, spoke to Contexte about his priorities. The German centre-right MEP said more of countries’ ETS cash should go to sectors where emissions are hard to abate. He also ruled out a coalition with the far-right.
