The population of the European Union grew by 2024 for the fourth consecutive year, to 450.4 million inhabitants, according to the European statistical office Eurostat, which explains that this behavior is largely due to migratory movements towards the bloc.
The latest data from Eurostat also shows that Hungary has the second fastest population decline within the EU.
