The European Commission (EC) proposed to maintain on Wednesday a 90% reduction in its target of greenhouse gas emissions by 1990 until 2040, but it introduces 'flexibility' due to the resurgence of countries which create differences in global warming, while Europe is facing extreme temperatures.
