The Air Lines Association (ALA) considers the agreement reached between the European Parliament and the EU Council to reform the passenger rights regulation to be “insufficient” and has warned that it can lead to a worse situation for consumers. ALA President Javier Gándara pointed out that the text “may lead to consumers being in a worse situation than they were” and regretted that an opportunity to update the regulation has been missed.
