The European Commission decided, on Friday, to initiate an action against Romania at the Court of Justice of the European Union on the non-compliance with its obligations relating to the deposit of waste under the Treaty of Accession of Romania and the Directive on the deposit of waste (Directive 1999/31/EC, as amended by Directive (EU) 2018/850), to inform a press release of the Community Executive Board.
The European Commission shall send Romania before the European Court of Justice for non-conformity deposits.
