The EU should help with defense budgets, say government politicians

The EU27 must be able to create a sufficient supply of money for security and defense, says Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS). The relaxation of rules for existing EU funds should help. NATO member states also face higher spending. Experts have estimated the strengthening of alliance forces at three to four percent of GDP per state per year. The new share will be finally decided at the June summit in The Hague.
