The operator was punished for forcibly transferring clients from archival tariffs.
At the request of MART, mobile operator A1 was fined 109.7 million roubles for closing archival plans and transferring clients to a new plan at a higher cost. On 1 June 2025, the A1 "Bes Limita" and "No Limita 2.0" archival tariff plans were closed and clients were transferred to the current Drive Anlime tariff plan at a higher cost.
Mobile operator A1 was fined more than 100 million roubles for violating anti-monopoly legislation, as reported by the Ministry of Anti-Monopoly Regulation and Trade.
The MART Commission's decision of 10 April 2026 found that there had been a violation of the anti-monopoly legislation in the actions of CB "A1", which resulted in the closure, on 1 June 2025, of the Non Limita and Bes Limita 2.0 archival tariff plans and the transfer of subscribers to the existing Drive Anlim tariff plan, with a higher cost.
In April of this year, the MART Commission found violations of anti-monopoly legislation by A1 – now punishable by a fine of 109.7 million rubles.
