While the landscape is arid despite occasional storms and many lawns have dried up to a crisp, Znojmo is literally strewn with millions of white flowers. These are floating daisies that grow in the Dyje River, where they form carpets. In places, they are so dense that some boaters have trouble navigating through them. The flowers will decorate the Dyje River until mid-August.
