The dark truth I found under Alaska’s midnight sun: Leslie Kouba

In the days before my recent trip to Anchorage, I stretched myself into an Alaskan biorhythm by staying up late and sleeping in, certainly a luxury of the semi-retired. And it worked. I was ready for the Land of the Midnight Twilight and its semi-dark four-hour “nights,” sleeping from 10pm (2am Ohio time) to 7am (11am Ohio) in a room with blackout curtains.
