Prague - An expert report by the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (AS CR) has confirmed that the Czech Republic has the first edition of the woodcut Rhinoceros by the German painter and graphic artist Albrecht Dürer (1471 to 1528). The library of the AS CR acquired it in the 1950s. Today, the first edition was presented at the opening of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic Week festival.
